EXECUTIVE BRIEFINGS

Do you know the eight top trends that will gain strength in the next three years and how they will impact your business or organization? Most organizations have some knowledge of trends, but few have a process for specifically analyzing which are important short- and long-term and which are not. Many organizations experience a rapid strategy decay because they got the timing of a trend's impact wrong.

What: The second offering is a forecast memo focused on the 4-6 major issues for which your organization should develop strategies in the year ahead given the force of trends that will grow over the next 3-5 years.

Who: The Briefings are for senior executives who are at the beginning a strategic planning process or executing on strategic initiatives that aren't delivering expected results. Others who can benefit: R&D groups, strategy departments, human resources, consumer business groups, or any business unit that wants a powerful injection of new thinking and information to tune up their thinking about the future.

How: Each Briefing is customized to the challenges and strategic issues your organization is facing. Preparation includes interviews with 1-3 executives to gain an understanding of what outcomes you'd like to see. Then the Global Foresight team goes to work to prepare a briefing looking across several domains, including demographics, economics, technology, and local and industry market conditions. We home in on the trends and shifts most critical to your organization right now, and develop a set of specific implications for you. Findings are delivered in a dynamic, professionally facilitated interactive executive workshop with plenty of opportunity for strategic discussion.

Deliverables: The briefing is graphically recorded and you receive a synthesis of key results, along with an annotation of the major implications of each section of your customized graphic discussion map.
